In the summer of 2003, I started painting again after a five year break. Instead of canvas, I tried masonite for the first time. These small acrylic paintings are either 4.75 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall, or if they’re square, then they’re 4 inches on each side. I don’t know why I made them at such odd sizes.
